Weekly Update - March 30

Final Primary Election Results are in!

Today the Mendocino County Registrar announced the Final Election Results. We received 1,900 out of 4,512 votes, which means we received 42.11% of the vote. This means we are certain we are heading to a run-off to November. Campaigning during a pandemic should prove challenging but we've got plenty of time to get the word out and when its safe to go back to knocking on doors.

In the meantime I wanted to share with you an opportunity to help our community.

The Building Bridges Homeless Shelter at 1045 South State Street could use support with hygiene and cleaning items. The Food Bank at 888 North State Street can use pantry items and fresh produce and meat items. Plowshares at 1346 South State Street needs proteins and produce, so if you are out shopping consider throwing a few extra things in your cart to donate to these organizations that are putting in so much work to support our community.

I look forward to continuing getting the word about who I am and why I'm running for Supervisor. You can find me on Facebook @ Mo4Mendo at 8am on Thursdays and in the mean time, please be safe and well.
